Affiliate Program Agreement
Last updated: October 16, 2026
1. Who This Agreement Is Between
This Affiliate Program Agreement (the "Agreement") is between The God Study LLC ("The God Study," "we," "us" or "our") and each person or business accepted into The God Study Affiliate Program (the "Program") ("Affiliate," "you" or "your"). By submitting an application, joining the Program, or sharing a referral link, you agree to this Agreement, our Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not apply or participate.
2. Eligibility and Approval
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a binding contract where you live. Applicants who meet these requirements are approved automatically when they apply. We may review any Affiliate at any time and may suspend, remove or decline anyone whose content, conduct or audience conflicts with this Agreement or with the values of The God Study, with or without giving a reason.
3. Independent Relationship
You participate as an independent contractor. Nothing in this Agreement creates an employment, partnership, joint venture, franchise, fiduciary or agency relationship. You may not make promises, commitments or statements on our behalf. You are responsible for your own expenses, equipment, content and taxes, and you are not entitled to any employee benefits.
4. Referral Link
After joining, your personal referral link lives in the affiliate portal at thegodstudy.promotekit.com. When you set up your portal account, you choose a short name for your link, for example your first name, and the portal gives you a link like thegodstudy.ai?via=yourname to share. Earnings and payouts are tracked in the same portal. Your link is for your use only. You may not sell, transfer or share it with anyone else. Referrals are credited according to our tracking records, which are final. We are not responsible for referrals that go untracked because of browser settings, ad blockers, deleted cookies, technical failures, or a customer not using your link. If more than one Affiliate could claim the same customer, the referral recorded by our tracking system controls.
5. Commissions
5.1 First payment. You earn 20% of the first successful qualifying subscription payment made by a customer you refer.
5.2 Renewals. After the first qualifying payment, you earn 8% of every qualifying renewal payment while the member you referred stays subscribed.
5.3 Qualifying subscriptions. Paid Spark ($15.99/mo, $155.99/yr) and Ignite ($25.99/mo, $254.99/yr) subscriptions qualify. Free accounts, free downloads, free trials, gifted or complimentary access, and purchases made with your own link do not qualify. An annual subscription renews once a year, so its renewal commission is earned once a year.
5.4 Commission base. Commissions are calculated on the amount we actually receive for the qualifying payment, after discounts and credits and excluding taxes and payment processing fees.
5.5 Eligibility holds. Your first commission on a referral becomes eligible once the referred customer has remained a paid subscriber for 30 consecutive days. Each renewal commission becomes eligible after a 30 day hold.
5.6 Payouts. Eligible commissions are paid on the 15th of each month once your eligible balance reaches $25. Balances under $25 carry forward. Earnings and payouts are tracked in the affiliate portal at thegodstudy.promotekit.com. You must keep your payment and tax information accurate and current.
5.7 Reversals. Refunds, chargebacks, payment disputes, and payments we determine to be fraudulent reverse the commissions tied to them. We may deduct reversed amounts from your future commissions.
5.8 Forfeiture. If your participation ends because you breached this Agreement or engaged in fraud, all unpaid commissions are forfeited. If your participation ends for any other reason, commissions that are eligible as of the end date are paid on the normal schedule, and no renewal commissions are earned after the end date.
5.9 Changes to rates. We may change commission rates or payout terms by giving you at least 30 days' notice by email. Changes do not affect commissions already earned before the change takes effect.
5.10 Complimentary access. Affiliates receive complimentary access to the Spark plan, including 10 decodes, once their first referred customer becomes a paying subscriber, for as long as their participation remains active. Affiliates may upgrade to Ignite at their own cost; purchases made with their own referral link do not earn commissions. Complimentary access is personal, cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash, does not earn commissions, and ends automatically when participation ends. We may change or end complimentary access with 30 days' notice by email.
6. Taxes
You are solely responsible for all taxes on your commissions. Before any payout, we may require a completed IRS Form W-9 (or the applicable Form W-8 if you are not a U.S. person) and may hold payments until we receive it. We issue tax forms, such as Form 1099, when the law requires, and we may withhold amounts when the law requires us to.
7. How You May Promote
7.1 Required disclosure. Every promotion must clearly and conspicuously disclose your relationship with The God Study, as required by the Federal Trade Commission's Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising (16 C.F.R. Part 255) and applicable state laws. Use plain words such as "I may earn a commission if you subscribe through my link." Place the disclosure next to the link, before any "more" or "see more" cut off, both spoken and on screen in video and live content, and in words (not only a platform's built in tag) on social media.
7.2 What you must do. Share your own honest experience with the app. Describe features accurately and only as they currently exist. Follow every law that applies to your promotions, including the CAN-SPAM Act, the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, state anti-spam, telemarketing, consumer protection and privacy laws, and the rules of every platform you use.
7.3 What you must not do:
- Make income, earnings or "get paid to share" claims about the Program or the app.
- Promise or imply any spiritual, health, healing, emotional, psychological, financial or life outcome, or claim that the app diagnoses, treats, cures or prevents any condition.
- Send spam, unsolicited bulk emails, texts or direct messages, or use auto-dialers or purchased contact lists.
- Bid on "The God Study," "God Study," "thegodstudy.ai" or any misspelling or variation in paid search or paid social ads, or register domain names, social media handles, apps or business names that contain them.
- Pose as The God Study, its founder, staff or official support, or create pages, profiles or apps that imitate ours.
- Use coupon, deal, cashback or incentivized traffic sites, pay people to click or subscribe, create fake accounts, use bots, use cookie stuffing, or use your own link for your own purchases.
- Offer discounts, bonuses or free access that we have not authorized in writing.
- Place promotions next to content that is hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, violent, illegal or directed at people under 18.
- Copy app content, sacred text translations, decodings or other material from The God Study and present it as your own.
7.4 Content review. We may review your promotions at any time and ask you to change or remove any of them. You agree to do so within 48 hours of our request.
8. Use of Our Name and Brand
We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use The God Study name, logo and any materials we provide, only to promote the Program under this Agreement. You may not alter our logo or materials. All rights in our names, logos, content, software and materials remain ours. This license ends automatically when your participation ends.
9. Customer Information
We do not share customers' personal information with Affiliates. If you obtain information about a customer through the Program, you may not use it for any purpose other than as that customer allows, and you must protect it as the law requires.
10. Confidentiality
Nonpublic information you receive through the Program, including commission data, customer information and unreleased features, is confidential. You may not disclose it or use it outside the Program, during or after your participation.
11. Ending Participation and Changes to the Program
Either party may end your participation at any time, for any reason, by email. We may suspend or end your participation immediately if we believe you breached this Agreement, engaged in fraud, or acted in a way that could harm The God Study or its reputation. We may change, pause or end the entire Program at any time. If the Program ends, no renewal commissions are earned after the end date, and commissions that are eligible as of that date are paid on the normal schedule. Sections 5.7, 5.8, 6 and 9 through 17 survive the end of your participation.
12. Disclaimers
The Program, the app, our tracking and our materials are provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee any level of referrals, subscriptions or earnings, or that tracking or the app will be uninterrupted or error free.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, The God Study LLC, its owner, members, managers, contractors and agents are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from the Program or this Agreement. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Program or this Agreement is limited to the commissions paid or payable to you in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Some states do not allow certain limitations, so some of these limits may not apply to you.
14. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless The God Study LLC and its owner, members, managers, contractors and agents from any claims, damages, losses, penalties, fines, costs and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your promotions, your content, your breach of this Agreement, or your violation of any law or third party right, including advertising disclosure, anti-spam, privacy and intellectual property laws.
15. Dispute Resolution and Arbitration
15.1 Informal resolution first. Before starting any formal proceeding, the party with a dispute must send the other a written description of it, and both parties will try in good faith to resolve it for 30 days.
15.2 Binding individual arbitration. Any dispute that is not resolved informally will be settled by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Commercial Arbitration Rules, before a single arbitrator. The arbitration may be held by video or by written submissions. Any in person hearing will take place in the State of Georgia unless the parties agree otherwise. Judgment on the award may be entered in any court with jurisdiction.
15.3 Class action waiver. Claims may be brought only on an individual basis, not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, collective, consolidated or representative proceeding. The arbitrator may not consolidate claims or preside over any form of class or representative proceeding.
15.4 Exceptions. Either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court if it qualifies. Either party may ask a court for an injunction to stop misuse of its trademarks, copyrights, confidential information or other intellectual property.
15.5 Opting out. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by notifying the email address listed here: support@thegodstudy.ai within 30 days of first accepting this Agreement, with your name and a clear statement that you opt out of arbitration.
15.6 If the class action waiver is found unenforceable for a particular claim, this Section 15 does not apply to that claim, and that claim must be brought in court.
16. Governing Law and Venue
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict of law rules, and the Federal Arbitration Act governs Section 15. Any claim that is not subject to arbitration must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Georgia, and both parties consent to their jurisdiction. Nothing in this Agreement takes away any right that the law of your state gives you and does not allow to be waived by contract.
17. General Terms
This Agreement, together with our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, is the entire agreement between us about the Program. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce any part is not a waiver. You may not assign this Agreement; we may assign it in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control. We may send notices by email to the address you provided, and they are effective when sent. We may update this Agreement by posting a new version on this page and notifying you by email at least 30 days before material changes take effect. Continuing to participate after that date means you accept the update.
